Wolves host Bulldogs in Packerland play

The Algoma boys’ basketball team will host the Peshtigo Bulldogs on Tuesday night in what Peshtigo can consider a “must win” game.

The Wolves (4-11, 1-10) are 1-4 in their last five games and are looking to break the tie between Peshtigo and N.E.W Lutheran for the Packerland Conference lead. The Wolves will rely on their two double figure scorers to lead the way with Carter Zimmerman leading the team with 23 points per game, and Kaden Vardon averaging 10 points per game.

Peshtigo (14-4, 9-2) need to keep winning as they are currently tied for first place in the Packerland and a loss could cost them their chance at a conference title. Landon Lemke and Kaine Fort lead the Bulldogs averaging 14 and 12 points per game respectively.

Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
