The Algoma girls’ basketball team traveled to Peshtigo on Tuesday night to take on the Bulldogs in Packerland play. 

Algoma came out of the gates hot and kept that momentum going through the entirety of the first half to propel themselves to a 20-17 lead at the halftime break. Peshtigo made the adjustments necessary at half however and they would escape with a 39-36 win. Algoma has now lost back-to-back games by a combined 9 points to two of the top teams in the conference. 

Sierra Slaby led the Wolves with 13 points, Ryley Zimmerman added 8. The Wolves will be in action again on Thursday as they host Sevastopol.
