The Algoma girls’ basketball team hosted the Oconto Blue Devils in a Packerland Conference matchup on Friday night. 

The Wolves had perhaps their best game of the season on both ends of the floor but fell just short of knocking off the Blue Devils, losing by a final score of 49-43. 

Algoma will be in action again on Tuesday as they face Peshtigo on the road.
