The Algoma girls’ basketball team hosted the Bonduel Bears on Saturday afternoon in nonconference play. 

 

The Bears offense was firing on all cylinders in the first half and it propelled them to a 39-14 lead going into the halftime break. The Wolves were able to contain the Bears offense in the second half but were unable to generate enough points of their own and ended up losing 60-27. 

 

Halle Panger and Emily Kirchman led the Wolves with 9 points a piece. 

 

Allaina Robaidek led the Bears with 19 and Hailee Thompson added 12. 

 

The Wolves will be back in action on Monday as they travel to N.E.W Lutheran to take on the Blazers.
