The Algoma girls’ basketball team hosted Kewaunee and faced the Storm in Packerland conference play on Thursday night. 

Kewaunee came out of the gates hot and never looked back, holding Algoma to single digit point totals in both halves. The Storm were led by Taylor Schelis who posted 17 points and Alyssa Wesely added 13. 

Algoma made second-half improvements as they gave up 41 points in the first half but only 19 in the second frame. The Wolves were led by Ryley Zimmerman and Emily Kirchman who each posted 5 points in the game.
