The Algoma boys’ basketball team lost to Sturgeon Bay by a score of 64-46 on Friday night in Packerland Conference play. 

The Wolves took a 21-20 lead into the halftime break, but Sturgeon Bay would answer with perhaps their best second half of the season to end up taking the 18 point win. Isaak Aune led the Clippers with 18 points, while Gannon Evers added 16, and Preston Newton added 11. 

The Wolves were led by Carter Zimmerman who posted 28 points, while Carter Zimmer added 12. 

The Wolves will next be in action next Tuesday as they travel to take on Stockbridge.
