Wolves take care of Pioneers in Packerland play

The Algoma boys’ basketball team faced off against the Sevastopol Pioneers in a conference matchup on Tuesday night. 

 

The Wolves were able to hold Sevastopol to 23 points in both the first and second half, while they scored 34 in the first half and 37 in the second half to secure the win. The Wolves got a big boost offensively from Carter Zimmerman who posted 31 points while Carson Lischka added 10. 

 

As for the Pioneers, Jack De Young scored 22 of the 46 Pioneer points with the next highest scorer being Tommy Giblin with 7. 

 

The Algoma Wolves will next be in action on Friday January 7th as they will host Green Bay West.
