Algoma Wolves boys' basketball is proving to not be for the faint of heart as they dropped a nailbiter to Oconto on Monday 61-59.

It was an offensive struggle in the first half with the Wolves taking a slim 15-14 lead into the break. Both teams broke out in the second half with the Blue Devils outscoring the Wolves 47-44 in the second frame. Leading that charge for the Blue Devils was Christian Koch, who scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half. The Wolves got 23 poins from Carter Zimmerman and 17 from Owen Robertson, who was able to match Koch's output in the second half.
