The Algoma Wolves got another come-from-behind win on Thursday night, beating the Sevastopol Pioneers 58-56.
The two teams played in Institute for an exhibition contest after both teams saw their seasons officially end earlier in the week in the WIAA Division 4 playoffs. The Pioneers once again held the advantage at the break, leading 33-28. The Wolves for a second straight game showed second-half grit, outscoring the Pioneers 30-23 in the final frame to nip the Pioneers.
Trevor Nell scored 17 points and Carter Zimmerman added 15 points in the win. Jack DeYoung led all scorers with 21 points in the loss for the Pioneers.
