The Algoma Wolves came up just short in its 42-38 loss to the Oconto Blue Devils on Tuesday night.
After being down by eight points heading into the break, the Wolves outscored the Blue Devils 22-18 in the second half. That was spurred by Ryley Zimmerman, who scored 12 of her team-high 14 points in the second half. Halle Panger also scored 14 points in the loss for the Wolves. The Blue Devils were led by Hannah Moe and Lianna Baxter who both scored 15 points in the victory.
The Wolves play again Thursday at home against Peshtigo.
