The Algoma Wolves could not close their eight-point first-half deficit, falling to NEW Lutheran Friday night 61-56.

The Wolves were able to get to the line but were unable to convert on the opportunity as they only hit 13 of their 21 attempts. Three Wolves scored in double figures in the defeat led by Hanna Wiese's 17 points, followed by 12 points for Halle Panger and Ryley Zimmerman adding 10 points. Bailey Scholz scored 26 of the Blazers 61 points to lead them past the Pioneers.
