The Algoma High School girls’ basketball team traveled to Kohler for a first-round contest Tuesday night, losing a close matchup, 41-36. Senior guard Chloe Spitzer has been at the forefront of Algoma’s improving offensive play the past three weeks, but she was held in check by the Bombers. Spitzer finished with only four points, and Algoma had only four players tally a score. Luckily for the Wolves, Sydney Zimmerman had a game-high 21 points.
