The Algoma Wolves volleyball team won its final two sets Thursday evening to beat Sturgeon Bay 3-1.

The Wolves and Clippers were tied at one a piece thanks to scores of 25-21 and 20-25. The Wolves won the third set 25-23 in a nailbiter, only to pull away in the fourth with 25-17 set win.

Hanna Weise had four aces to go along with her eight kills. Jacklyn Dean added 18 kills and Rianna Jones registered 10. The two each had their turns distributing the balls, collecting 22 and 26 assists respectively.

Hailey DeGrave and Carley Wodack combined for 20 kills while Lauren Alger collected 29 assists in the loss for Sturgeon Bay
