The Wolves came into Friday 1-4 on the year and entered the weekend at 5-4. It was a good, if long, day in Reedsville. The team boarded the bus at 6 AM and wrapped up the day late in the evening with four wins in between. Algoma swept Roncalli 25-18, 25-22 before brooming Mishicot 25-20, 25-14. The final two matches went three sets with the Wolves prevailing in each. Algoma had to scramble to nip Two Rivers 13-25, 26-24, 27-25 and fought fatigue against the Reedsville Panthers 23-25, 25-23, 25-18 to win the Reedsville Invite. Algoma has a well-deserved break, they do not return to the court until Thursday against Sevastopol.
