Algoma Wolves fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-0 loss to Peshtigo on Monday. Peshtigo scored on a single by Brody Heroux and a double by Mitch Peters in the first inning.

 

The Algoma Wolves Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Peshtigo, giving up 12 runs.

 

Peshtigo got on the board in the first inning. Heroux singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

 

A single by Zach Schmidt in the first inning was a positive for Algoma Wolves Varsity.

 

Heroux was on the hill for Peshtigo. He surrendered zero runs on four hits over five innings, striking out 11.

 

Schmidt led things off on the mound for Algoma Wolves. He surrendered 12 runs on 15 hits over four and a third innings, striking out three and walking one. Jackson Schoening threw two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen.

 

Trevor Nell, Tristan Copet, Schmidt, and Carter Zimmer each collected one hit to lead Algoma Wolves.

 

Peshtigo tallied 17 hits in the game. Zack Wallin, Heroux, Brandon Eirk, N Lemke, and Jake Gordon each had multiple hits for Peshtigo.
