The Algoma softball can't wait to get back on the diamond for some real game action and they'll get that opportunity on Thursday. The Wolves will travel to Southern Door with the first pitch coming at 5 PM. It'll be a matchup of the best and third best team in the conference from a year ago with the Eagles being the conference champs. From 2012 to 2015 Algoma won the Packerland Conference championship in each of those years. The pinnacle of their success came in 2013 when the Wolves won the state championship, beating Newman Catholic 5-4 in the title game.
