The Algoma softball program is used to finishing high in the Packerland standings and having great playoff success. Last season was no different for the Wolves as they ended up at 13-4 overall and 11-3 in conference play. That was good for a third place finish behind Southern Door and Oconto. When the playoffs rolled around Algoma didn't have much of an issue winning another regional championship. They knocked off St. Mary's Springs 10-1 and then beat St. Mary Catholic 7-3 to advance to the sectionals. The Wolves playoff run ended there with an 11-2 loss to Manitowoc Lutheran.

The Algoma softball season is scheduled to begin on April 4th when they travel to Southern Door.
