Basketball season is over for the Algoma girls as many of those athletes are now preparing for the spring sports season. The Wolves finished the season with a 15-9 overall record and went 11-5 in the Packerland Conference. That was good for third place for a program that is used to finishing at or near the top of the standings. The best evidence of that was in the 2012-2013 season when the Wolves tied with Kewaunee for first place in the conference and eventually won a third state championship in their history. They knocked off Colfax 46-30 and really dominated the second half outscoring the Vikings 24-10. 

Colfax was the correct answer in Tuesday's High School Sports Trivia Contest Question of the Day, "Who did the Algoma girls basketball team defeat in the 2013 state championship game?"
