Algoma track heads to Oconto Falls

No rest is required for the Algoma Track and Field team, which heads to third meet in five days in Oconto Falls.

 

On Friday, the boys and girls track teams participated in the track meet at Ripon College on Friday and many athletes put up top-five finishes. Sydney Zimmerman finished first in the 60-meter hurdles and Bobbi Blahnik was the best of the meet in the girls shot put. Liberty Ansorge finished third and fourth in the 400-meter dash and 800-meter run respectively. As for the boys, Brevin Robertson finished second in the 800-meter run and Max Schoening placed third for the shot put.

 

Algoma will be joined by conference rivals Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay for the meet in Oconto Falls, which begins at 4:30 p.m.
