The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans dominated the Oconto Falls Panthers 52-13 Friday night in a North Eastern Conference football game in Oconto Falls. The Spartans scored on their fourth play from scrimmage on a 51-yard run by Matt Cravillion and never looked back. L-C scored five touchdowns in the second quarter and took a commanding 49-0 lead into halftime. Cravillion ran for three scores and passed for two others as the senior had a huge night. He finished with 107 yards rushing on 12 carries all in the first half. Running back Reece Worachek added two rushing scores.
John Larson kicked a 26-yard field goal in the third quarter to finish the scoring for the Spartans.
The Panthers (0-6, 0-6 overall) could only manage two fourth-quarter scores to prevent a shutout.
The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans (2-3, 3-3 overall) will now return home next week to play the Denmark Vikings in the Spartan’s homecoming game. Pregame will be at 6:30 pm with kickoff at 7 pm on WBDK 96.7 FM.
